There Is More To Philanthropy Than Just Writing a Check
We Help You Create a Charitable Legacy, While You Are Alive
The J24 Charity Trust is a public charity trust dedicated to the causes of our contributors. We are especially focused on encouraging Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, STEM Education, Environmental Education and Conservation, providing Immigration Assistance, and supporting causes associated with Social Justice.
The J24 Charity Trust is a 501c3 organization that is both an active charity with its own programs and missions and a conduit to financially support other charities that our contributors care about.
There are many ways to give to a charity.. You Can:
1. Directly donate via check and securities donations.
2. You can donate at the time of death as part of your estate planning.
3. There are also ways to create trusts that donate income of principal to the charity while retaining the principal for heirs.
4. There are trusts and annuities that provide income to you now and benefit the charity later. Basically - Where there is a will to give, there is a way to give.
5. Require corporations to achieve ESG and charitable contribution goals (tithe).
There is so much you can do to have a positive community impact.
You can care about more than the cost of a product when you buy it. You can care about how its made, who makes it, where it is made, and how its manufacture impacts the local and global environment, both good and bad. You can care about the conditions of the labor force and their rights as workers and human beings.
As an investor, you can see both a positive return and a positive social/ environmental return. The achievement of both is not mutually exclusive.
As a business manager or executive, you can encourage decisions and policies that create a positive impact on a greater community . You can worry less about proft and more about positive social and environmental change.
This video provides two great examples of enterprises create for both profit and positive community impact.
We hope that this inspires you to care more about the companies you buy products and services from, the impact they have on the community, and the impact that you can have in your employment within a business organization.
